Since law enforcement officials were responsible for the escape, they didn't want any media involvement. But after he was still on the run after a month, I decided to learn how to do a blog. THAT was hard enough but I would not have known anything about creating traffic and visibility without the information and sites that I found here. I cannot begin to thank you enough for sharing this information with us. I know that the suspect would still be out there, possibly causing another family horrible grief by committing another senseless crime. I'm finished with my "Crime Fighting Career"! The stress has seriously maligned me health by exacerbating the systemic lupus that I've been battling for over 25 years. I will not being staying here for the trial. My plans are to get to Tuscany as soon as I can. Hopefully I will get better, both physically and mentally, where there's a slower way of life. I can only repay you by offering my world-class recipe for real Créole gumbo, a well-guarded secret for over 200 years by my late husband's black Créole family in New Iberia, Louisiana, home of the best hot sauce ever created. One the "AMW" producers is a good friend of mine. She has been holding the story ever since it happened. The DA's office claims that any media exposure will "drive the suspect further underground". I went along with this position for several weeks but I no longer believe that to be the case. I know that the DA's office just doesn't want anyone to know that they blew this. This has been particularly difficult for me because not only am I "the victim's family", I am also a writer/publicist. I put on my "widow" hat at first and didn't write anything about this. But I'm tired of the crap. How long does it take well-educated law enforcement individuals to catch a guy with a GED?! So my first step was to create the blog. Now I am getting ready to tell all of my friends who are reporters, writers, and journalists to bring the thunder. I know that all it takes is the "Crimestoppers Crackhead Reward" to smoke this guy out. Girl, there is so much more to this story that you would choke! This has been a screw-up of gigantic proportions. I have taken off my "widder weeds" and I am now writing a book about it. I will be sending out query letters in a few weeks. It doesn't take me long to write anything but this is just so painful. Good news! I'm not waiting for the trial since I know something else will probably get screwed up.
