Because we were watching TV and I saw a commercial for the iPhone and said “Oh cool!” He’s really ticked. “You NEVER say any electronics are cool! How could you say something APPLE is cool?!?!” Then I went on to say “Well you can touch the screen and stuff!” This only angered him further. Now he’s on an anti-apple campaign. My iTunes crashed and he said “See?!? All things Apple suck…” LOL. Never offend a PC geek with a Mac compliment. You’ll never hear the end of it.

Helen,
I was reading this post and i thought i would chime in. I went to my local Apple Store in Ohio on Friday and picked up an iPhone. The phone has worked perfectly so far. The ipod functionality works great. The keyboard takes a little time to get used but i’m almost typing with two thumbs instead of one. The phone is actually thinner than it seems in pictures and it is just as easy to use as it seems in all the commercials and videos. Anyway, if you want to know more i’d be happy to answer.

I’m with your Hubby on this one. While this gadget is a technological wonder-child, just exactly how fancy does your cell phone need to be?!! Awww, I pine for the good ol’ days when you could go to the store without someone calling you to add onto the shopping list.

That’s so funny. I’m glad I don’t have to consider my net worth when I admire a gadget (only my pocketbook). I’m a huge Apple fan, but I have to admit I don’t really need all that functionality in a phone. But it does look cool.
