For a long time, I’d see my mother’s phone number on my caller id and answer “Help Desk”.
She could never figure out why I refused to drive 45 miles (each way, in the snow, uphill) to “fix” a computer that she let my nephews destroy installing crap downloads from the web.
You couldn’t read anything on her browser for the menu bars.
It took 20 minutes to boot the damn thing up because of the startup ‘features’.
After she let said nephew unplug her printer to plug in a digital camera (and then couldn’t figure out why she couldn’t print), I told her if she let another grandchild play with it, I was taking it out and using a sledgehammer to fix it.
She has my cousin fix it now.
hahahahahahahahaha.

Ree- LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That’s my MIL’s computer.. Except she and BIL’s girlfriend mess it up themselves….

LOL I’m an IT Gal…and I’m not ashamed to say my server at home has a memory leak, has for over a year, and heck if I’m going to fix it. I figured I’ll get a new one soon anyway and then the problem will fix itself
