Sorry, I just have not had a moment to myself. I swear I’ll get back to blogging. My wrist is still hurting so typing is really uncomfortable. Hand doctor says he thinks it’s just a very deep bone bruise, however, there is still some concern over the snuffbox area. I go back in two weeks and if I’m still sore, they will do an MRI. What that means is that I have to re-learn all my Hapkido material on the right side of my body ( a mirror image of what I’ve learned, two weeks before my belt test.) I’m overwhelmed at the number of comments I need to answer and I have 2,456 unread entries in bloglines. I swear I’m here. But with baseball, art and the end of the school year combined with belt tests in both karate and hapkido happening at the same time, blogging has to be sparse right now. Please don’t give up on me, I promise I’ll be back soon.
Let’s do a round of Whatever Wednesday on Thursday again. First Question: What was your favorite movie this year?
Whatever Wednesday rules: Answer the question left by the person before you and leave a question for the next person. Play as many times as you wish. Anything goes. And it doesn’t have to be Wednesday to play.

Oh Helen! You know we love you…
*hugs* It’s easy to get overwhelmed with kids and your own activities and not feeling well, and people falling down wells….Oh wait. That was Timmy. *L* Anyways… I think you need to see this: http://www.cbs.com/latenight/lateshow/live/index/php/956231.phtml?play=1 — it should mellow you out.

I hear you my friend. I’ve been awol too. Taking a bloggy vacation because my real life is so much work.
On the wrist, of our three breaks last year, two were snuff boxes (one for each child). The break is almost impossible to see on the xray, so they treat it immediately. It’s like the ball bearing of your wrist. It’s supposed to be casted immediately. Then they take off the cast weekly and xray. It took three repeats until the break showed up. The break didn’t actually show up on xray until three weeks after Eldest was casted and we’d missed PNS Long Course Champs and Midlakes Champs. I would have been so mad if it wasn’t broken after missing those. So it seems it’s such a tricky area that the healing bone/recalcification is what actually shows up on xray. The idea is , when in doubt, treat it like a break. It’s not worth it to have it heal wrong–life long complications.
As for the doctor, we went to Proalliance Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Bellevue next to Overlake. We had an appt two hours after I called, xrayed, casted, and out the door 1 hour later. Your xray woes are ridiculous! Fire those doctors.
On a separate note, I’ve been researching organic coops. I’ve got literature for Tiny’s and also Full Circle Farms. Beau mentioned you have some opinions on the subject. Thoughts?
Get better.

Im so glad we have the NHS Because if anything does happen I dont have to worry about money, but the downside is, I dont really get to pick and choose my docs, just shut up and put up unfortunatly!!!!!
Vote with your feet in the future!
The most embarrassing thing Ive ever done is cried and hugged my anathsthatist (Spelling crap but it is 2am!!!!) when I was having Jack, I was away with the fairies and had been in labour for 40 hours and I told the poor guy I loved him lol
Next question, Have you ever had a truely once in a lifetime experience? One you can tell your grandkids about????
I’m going to see the dalai Lama in about 8 hours time and am listening to a whole weekends series of talks he is giving… Im so excited its unreal! Its been a lifetimes ambition of moine to hear him talk and now Im spending the weekend listening to him…..

Just have to add (Apologies Helen!)
Ive just had one of the most awe inspiring none religious weekends of my entire life!!!!!!!!! And while we may joke about free tibet, I can honestly say hand on my heart that we should fight for the Chinese to free tibet, if only to let the most humble person I have ever listened to, speand time in his homeland!!!!!

Melusine- I LOVE me some Jimmy Buffet! And I MUST have that song!!!!
Jesse- Hmmm. Haven’t seen that one. Who is in it?
Scout- Neither you nor that spouse of yours is blogging! They told me that they treat these breaks with the removable splint things. It doesn’t even stabilize my thumb which hurts the most. Grr. Annoying! I’ve been using Pioneer Organics for a year or two and love them. However, they were just taken over by SPUD. I had my first SPUD delivery last week and it was disastrous. I’ll let you know how this week goes. If they screw up that bad again, I’m firing them. I had started perusing this: http://pugetsoundfresh.org/pdf/2008FarmGuide.pdf but hadn’t gotten all the way through it.
Nemma- I would love to hear the Dalai Llama speak. And I wasn’t joking about freeing Tibet. I honestly believe that Tibet needs to be freed.
I’m very interested in Buddhism.
